As BioPharma APAC celebrates International Women's Day on March 8, it's time to recognize the remarkable contributions of women in clinical trials. These women have not only broken barriers in the male-dominated field but have also revolutionized the industry with their expertise, intelligence, and dedication. In this article, we highlight the 12 leading women in clinical trials in APAC and their outstanding contributions.

  1. Dr. Yuan Xu - As the Senior Director of Clinical Operations at BeiGene, Dr. Xu played a vital role in developing the company's oncology clinical trials in APAC. She has also worked with leading biotech and pharmaceutical companies, including Pfizer, Novartis, and Merck, and has published over 40 papers in international journals.

  2. Dr. Mei Mei Hu - As the CEO and Co-founder of United Neuroscience, Dr. Hu leads a team of scientists and innovators to develop vaccines and therapies for neurodegenerative diseases.
