Held on April 15, the MoU signing ceremony marked a pivotal moment in fostering collaboration between two key enablers of biotech innovation in Asia. The partnership will allow companies within the NSG BioLabs ecosystem to leverage GenScript’s cell and gene therapy solutions, protein expression services, and synthetic biology expertise to scale their research more efficiently and effectively.

The event also featured an engaging scientific session on “Leveraging Cell-Free Protein Expression for Rapid Disease Detection in Diagnostic Kit Development,” led by Dr. Huan Jia of Thrixen and Dr. Yok Hian Chionh of GenScript. The session offered valuable insights into the application of cell-free systems in accelerating diagnostic innovation, a field of growing relevance in Asia and beyond.
