Thermo Fisher Scientific’s customers based in Russia can now directly buy and receive support on the complete chromatography and mass spectrometry portfolio
Scientists and laboratory personnel based in Russia using chromatography and mass spectrometry systems now have easy access to the complete collection of instruments and solutions, as well as comprehensive customer support from installation to routine use in the laboratory, with direct access to Russian-based expert sales teams
Thermo Fisher Scientific has simplified access to their chromatography and mass spectrometry solutions in response to customer demands, ensuring their satisfaction no matter where they are based. The new Russian-based team will support customers at every stage of an instrument’s lifecycle, during installation and for any potential maintenance needs, to minimize instrument downtime.
“Our chromatography and mass spectrometry solutions are used worldwide in many different applications, whether it is in biopharmaceutical facilities, water and soil testing sites or clinical research, toxicology and anti-doping,” said Peter Schüßler, vice president, EMEA sales and global channel management, chromatography and mass spectrometry, Thermo Fisher Scientific. “This offering not only reflects our commitment and response to customer demand and satisfaction; it also places us as the sole global scientific provider of analytical testing solutions selling directly in Russia.”
This change also provides customers in Russia with a connection with the wider customer community for peer-to-peer support, maximizing every aspect of the customer experience. Scientists from a wide array of fields from pharmaceutical R&D and food testing to academic facilities will benefit from direct access to Thermo Fisher instruments and the provision of complete workflow solutions for analytical purposes.
Alexander Makarov, director, global research, life science mass spectrometry, Thermo Fisher Scientific, said, “When collaborating with academic groups in Russia, we were frequently made aware of the complicated and slow nature of customer support in the absence of direct Thermo Fisher representation in the country. I am pleased to see this implementation of a local team to build direct access to customers and provide a unique opportunity to support this developing market.”
“Our company acquired equipment necessary for the production of oligonucleotides and diagnostic test systems direct through Thermo Fisher Scientific,” said Igor Ryabov, CEO, JSC Institute of Genetic Technology (IGTECH). “We were pleased with the technical support, the speed of response and the quality of service.”
