Nuance Pharma Expands Bentrio® Nasal Spray Launch in Asia, Files for Mainland China Approval

Nuance Pharma extends exclusive license with Altamira Medica to cover seven additional countries in East and South East Asia, bringing Bentrio®'s innovative airborne protection to a market of over 630 million people.

  • Nuance Pharma successfully launched Bentrio® nasal spray for protection against airborne particles in Hong Kong and filed request for marketing authorization for Mainland China 
  • Extension of Exclusive License and Distribution Agreement to include seven additional countries across East and South East Asia with cumulated population > 630 million 

Nuance Pharma (the "Company") announced that it has agreed with Altamira Medica Ltd., an associate company of Altamira Therapeutics Ltd. (Nasdaq:CYTO), to extend the territory covered by the exclusive license and distribution agreement for Bentrio® nasal spray by several countries across South East and East Asia. Under the amended agreement, Nuance's territory will expand from China (Mainland, Hong KongMacau) and South Korea to also include SingaporeMalaysiaThailandPhilippinesIndonesiaVietnam and Taiwan, with a combined population of greater than 630 million people. Nuance has been marketing Bentrio in Hong Kong since late 2022 and recently submitted the request for marketing approval for Mainland China.
