Thermo Fisher Scientific has introduced the Thermo Scientific™ Heratherm™ Environmental Chambers with a 250-litre capacity, expanding its environmental chamber portfolio with a compact, stackable solution designed for stability testing, sample storage, cell culture and quality control applications.
The new 250-litre chambers complement Thermo Fisher Scientific’s existing 750-litre Heratherm Environmental Chambers, enabling laboratories of different sizes to select configurations suited to their space, testing volumes and workflow requirements.
Designed for highly regulated laboratory environments, the new Heratherm Environmental Chambers provide precise control to simulate a range of climatic conditions. They feature a programmable user interface, restricted user modes, remote monitoring and advanced data logging capabilities to support 21 CFR Part 11 data management and traceability requirements.
The chambers also provide at-a-glance sample status information, helping laboratory teams monitor ongoing studies more efficiently.

Thermo Fisher Scientific has also incorporated Peltier electric heating and cooling technology into the new chambers. The technology is designed to deliver temperature stability and uniformity while consuming less energy and eliminating hazardous refrigerants associated with traditional compressor-based systems.
