Biocair, a global leader in life sciences logistics, has announced the opening of a new site in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China, further expanding its operational reach. This new site is Biocair’s eighth location in the Asia-Pacific region, strengthening its influence in the region and reinforcing its position as a global logistics provider. Biocair first established its presence in the APAC region in 2009 with its Shanghai site.

Strategic Expansion in Western China

From a business development perspective, the new site is strategically located near Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, enhancing Biocair’s logistics operations by expanding its network across central and western China. The dedicated logistics team in Chengdu will provide cold chain transportation resources and comprehensive guidance on import/export regulations, further enhancing Biocair’s capabilities in the region.

Advanced Logistics Capabilities

The new Chengdu warehouse will offer clients in central and western China a broader range of import/export, pickup, and delivery solutions, further strengthening Biocair’s services for temperature-sensitive products. The facility is equipped with:

• State-of-the-art freezers and refrigerators
• Controlled room temperature storage (15-25°C)
• Specialized handling for dry ice, +2°C to +8°C, +15°C to +25°C, and -20°C temperature-sensitive shipments

 

The new Chengdu site will enhance Biocair’s logistics operations and team collaboration across the Asia-Pacific region. The company plans to further expand its storage and logistics infrastructure in central and western China over the coming years.
