New collaboration bridges academic and industry expertise, benefiting 75 final-year students annually with cutting-edge training and career opportunities in biopharma manufacturing

Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s School of Life Sciences and Chemical Technology (LSCT) is proud to announce a groundbreaking partnership with Merck Singapore (Merck Life Science) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This strategic collaboration aims to revolutionize the learning experience for students pursuing Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering by equipping them with industry-relevant skills and hands-on training.

Under this partnership, Ngee Ann Polytechnic and Merck Singapore will co-design and co-deliver specialized biopharmaceutical manufacturing modules to benefit 75 final-year students from LSCT each year. The initiative is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world applications, empowering students with knowledge that aligns with the evolving demands of the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries.
