DHL Group Singapore Hosts “Powering the Global Healthcare Supply Chain” Dialogue at APAC Innovation Centre
DHL Group Singapore welcomed esteemed customers and partners to a strategic engagement at its APAC Innovation Centre, spotlighting the theme “Powering the Global Healthcare Supply Chain in Singapore.” The event brought together key stakeholders from across the healthcare logistics ecosystem for a thought-provoking session on the future of life sciences and healthcare supply chains.
The event featured a keynote by Javier Bilbao Uzkiano, CEO, DHL Supply Chain, Asia Pacific, who shared his insights on “Transforming Logistics in Life Sciences and Healthcare.” He highlighted the shift from conventional healthcare delivery to advanced therapeutic models and the evolving logistics demands that accompany this transformation. Javier also underscored the strategic intent behind the DHL Health Logistics brand and the strength of DHL’s cross-divisional expertise in meeting complex, time-sensitive healthcare needs.
A panel discussion, moderated by Christopher Ong, Managing Director, DHL Express Singapore, included senior representatives from the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), Bristol Myers Squibb, and DHL. The panel addressed current trends, regulatory alignment, and Singapore’s vital role as a resilient and trusted hub for healthcare logistics in the Asia Pacific region.
Attendees were also taken on a guided tour of DHL’s innovation-driven facilities to observe first-hand the operational excellence that underpins its healthcare logistics capabilities.
