At Danaher Corporation's Leica Microsystems, she served as the Managing Director for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region, overseeing operations and contributing to the company's strategic direction in these territories. This role likely involved managing a complex organizational structure and navigating the diverse regulatory and market landscapes across these regions.

Before her tenure at Leica Microsystems, van Pelt was involved with Hitachi Data Systems, where she led the Healthcare and Life Sciences sector for the EME region.
